Aftercare: Brows
Aftercare is designed to prevent scabbing or excessive scabbing. We also want to keep them clean and bacteria free, preventing infection. The goal is to keep scabs (if there is any) on as long as possible
Day 0 (Day of appointment)
Dab brows with firm pressure (like squeezing a sponge) with provided wipes. Do this hourly until bedtime.
-This is the most important step. This step ensures no scabs will form which is the ultimate healing. If you can get this step right, you will most likely be able to get away without needing a touch up
Day 0 to 14
Morning and Evening: Wash your hands. Take a drop of the cleanser (provided), between your fingers and dab on your brows. Gently wash your brow in little circles to dissolve any of the plasma (fluid) build up. If it doesn’t dissolve, do not encourage or pick. It will scab but that is fine. Use your cotton pads and your prepared water from Day 0 to get the soap off, then use dry pads to dry.
If you notice your scabs are getting really dry and pulling tight you are allowed to apply a rice grain amount of Aftercare Cream (provided) once a day. Make sure to dab it so that it absorbs into the brows, and they are dry again. Please note to only use it if necessary. Overdoing the aftercare can also cause the opposite.
Keep your brows dry – Showering and face washing. No swimming and no excessive sweating for 7 days.
Sleep on your back/avoid sleeping on brows.
Side sleeping can cause the scabs to peel prematurely on the tail end of the brow, which causes the pigment to rip out.
Please keep in mind the following
On the day of getting your brows they will seem very bold and dramatic. They do fade around 40%. In the first week they will be even darker. This is due to scabbing and not a result of the color underneath.
When the scabbing/skin naturally flakes, they will seem lighter than expected. This is due to the new skin layer that has not matured yet and is not as see through as the normal top layers of the skin. This layer matures or sheds between week 4 and week 6. Only after 6 weeks we can see the results and do a touch up accordingly. Mature clients will need to wait 8 weeks before they can get a touch up.

Aftercare: Lips
Day 0-8 (or until lips peeled)
1. Cleansing:
- Wash your lips using the provided "soap" at least four times a day, and after every snack, meal, or drink (including water).
2. Moisturizing:
- Apply the vitamin aftercare gloss as needed to keep lips hydrated. Avoid letting your lips dry out; once they do, they cannot be rehydrated until they peel.
3. Drinking & Eating:
- Use a straw when drinking.
- Avoid food contact with your lips.
- Refrain from kissing.
4. Oral Care Tips:
- For brushing your teeth, dry brush without toothpaste first, then apply toothpaste afterward. Ensure that the toothpaste does not foam or touch the lip tattoo. (Please confirm with your dentist.)
Healing Process:
- On the day of your lip tattoo, your lips may appear swollen and larger than usual. Rest assured, they are not tattooed bigger; the swelling will subside within 1-3 days.
- Initially, the color may look bright and intense. Keep in mind that the lip color can fade by up to 60% during the healing process, and this is not the final shade.
- The following day, your lips may appear darker, which is also temporary.
- After the lips peel, the color might look lighter or even disappear, but this is normal. The final results will be visible after 8 weeks.
- It’s common for the inner part of the lips to fade more than the outer part. Any touch-ups needed can be addressed during your follow-up appointment after 8 weeks.
